Hyundai has unveiled the all-new Santa Fe with a striking new design, which the company says is optimised for "outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts".

The design of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is a major departure from its older outgoing iteration. The Santa Fe now gets boxy proportions, a longer wheelbase and H-shaped elements all around. These include H-shaped DRLs, H-motif on the lower grille and H-shaped tail lights at the rear. The overall exterior offers a clean look, replacing the curves with straight panels giving it a much beefier look.

Inside, the 2024 Santa Fe continues the clean look. It gets light-coloured seat upholstery offering a more spacious feel to the interiors, soft-touch materials all around and plenty of creature comforts and connected tech, as expected. Hyundai offers the new Santa Fe with a large curved display, housing the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the touchscreen infotainment screen. Also, the new-gen Santa Fe will feature three rows of seating, compared to the two-row configuration on the current iteration. Overall, the interior of the 2024 Santa Fe offers a very upscale feel compared to the outgoing model, with a touch of Land Rover vibes.

Hyundai hasn't revealed any technical specifications of the upcoming Santa Fe. However, the 2.5T badge at the rear indicates the updated SUV could carry forward the same 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the current Santa Fe. Reports suggest, Hyundai could also offer a hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants of SUV, depending on the market.

Hyundai has just released the images of the 2024 Santa Fe, with the official reveal scheduled to take place in August. The SUV is expected to go on sale first in the USA later this year, before launching in other international markets.

Wow. Certainly looks a killer to me. Wonder whether it will come to the Indian market or not. Hyundai should consider launching Palisade, Santa Fe with Hybrid options in India.

Reminds me of the Ford Flex

Front and side profile looks good, rear looks out of place.

Front is very enticing but rear gives ugly Fiat Uno vibes. Where is 'throwing up' emoticon when you need one?

I was just about to say what a good job they have done with the new design, which is anyday better than the outgoing version. Then I see this image, which shows the rear. :Frustrati

Why does Hyundai insist on making such weird designs?!

They are certainly doubling down on the “H” in lights etc.

But, that rear! Maybe the designers lost motivation. Reminds me of the famous drawing a horse meme! lol:

Haven’t seen any car till date that looks so good from the front and so bad from the rear. What are these guys smoking :Frustrati

Soon there will be front aftermarket (Karol Bagh-ish) connected Led bar for recently launched Hy&I Exter as well.
Santa-Fe looks like Hy&I took there inspirations from Land Rovers/Range Rovers.
Mix of bigger Range Rovers and Defenders.
Rear looks awful :Frustrati

Front looks nice, too much of boxiness overall. But the back kills that better looking front design. Not to my liking in terms of exteriors, however internally looks awesome.

Now that’s a well implemented design. It looks striking and will age well. So much better than the current Creta - Tucson - Palisade design language.

Looks like the rear has been inspired from old station wagons.

So happy to see the boxy SUV design being brought back, thanks HYUNDAI for bringing out a good design after so long. The rear looks are still debatable, but kind of acceptable in white and black color tones.

But the new SantaFe looks so big, as big or even bigger than the Hyundai Palisade! Where are they gonna place the Palisade now?
