Lamborghini recently unveiled the successor to the Aventador, in the form of the Revuelto. Now, the Italian supercar brand is said to be working on introducing the successor to its V10-powered offering, the Huracan.



The Lamborghini Huracan successor has been spied undergoing testing on public roads for the first time. The prototype has been heavily camouflaged but seems to be wearing pre-production body panels. The test mule also carries the "high-voltage" stickers, confirming that the supercar will get a hybrid powertrain.



Other details from the spy images include sleek headlamps positioned close to the front bumper, a massive air intake, a single hexagonal exhaust at the rear with two circular tips, sleek taillights on either side of the exhaust and a large diffuser lower down. While many of the design details have been masked, reports suggest that the "entry-level" Lamborghini will borrow styling cues from the Revuelto.



Lamborghini is yet to confirm the powertrain specifications on the Huracan successor. Although, reports do state that the supercar could get a smaller twin-turbo V8. It also remains to be seen how many electric motors the smaller sibling of the Revuelto gets and whether the supercar will get a plug-in hybrid setup or not.
