Porsche reveals its revised crest logo ahead of brand's 75th anniversary celebrations

Porsche has revised the design of its iconic crest logo. The new brand logo carries forward the basic design and layout, but now features subtle changes which, according to Porsche, "bridge the history and future of the brand".

As seen, certain elements on the revised logo have been simplified to better recreate them digitally. The new logo now features a slightly darker gold tone, with the "Stuttgart" script in the centre written in black for the first time. Another significant change is the more prominent honeycomb pattern added to the red parts of the logo. Apart from this, the iconic crest carries forward the prancing horse borrowed from the city seal of Stuttgart and the antlers from the previous iteration.

The Porsche logo was first created back in 1952 by in-house designer Franz Xaver Reimspiess, who also designed the original Volkswagen logo. Since then, the Porsche logo has undergone multiple revisions, with the latest being in 2008. However, older Porsche owners can always find period-correct crest designs via the Porsche Classic Department.

Wow, what a revolutionary change. Anyway, glad to see Porsche is sticking to it's roots and not massacring the logo with the simplification treatment. Looks great with the new hexagon things on the red and black stripes.

Hexagon?

Anyways...reminds me to chase up my local Porsche Center. I'm still owed a blue leather fob keyring after paying gbp340.00 for a replacement key! Wonder if it'll contain the new logo

Yep...can see it now

My new key fob arrived in the post today. Date of manufacture shows 3.11.22 so doubt it would have been implemented even if I received it on 9.6.23 (included macro shot for detail).
