Toyota seems to be getting ready to unveil the 2024 iterations of its flagship minivans, the Vellfire & Alphard. Ahead of its expected global launch, images of the 2024 Toyota Vellfire & Alphard minivans have been leaked online.



The leaked images give a clear glimpse of both models, revealing updates to their front fascia. Both, the Vellfire and Alphard will come with a refreshed front grille with slightly curved horizontal slats, with separate designs to help differentiate between the two. The 2024 versions also get new LED lighting at the front and are also expected to get updated tail lights at the rear.



The leaked image also showcases a new colour scheme for the 2024 Alphard, reportedly called 'Precious Leo Blonde'. Both, Alphard and Vellfire share the same paint schemes in the international market. These include White Pearl, Steel Blonde Metallic & Black. Exclusive paint options include Luxury White Pearl for the Alphard and Burning Black for the Vellfire.



The 2024 Toyota Vellfire and Alphard will carry forward all the luxury, creature comfort and tech features from their respective current models, while also getting additional equipment and slightly updated interiors.

The refreshed minivans will retain their current dimensions and platform. Both, Vellfire and Alphard measure 4,945 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,895 mm in length; with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. The 2024 Vellfire and Alphard will also continue to be powered by the same 2.5-litre engine producing 179 BHP and 235 Nm. It is paired with a 7-speed CVT transmission.

Reports state, Toyota could globally unveil both the 2024 Vellfire and Alphard in the coming months. The refreshed Vellfire could also make its way to India sometime by the end of 2023.

New Toyota Vellfire:

The new Toyota Vellfire still follows the same concept, which is to be the Alphard version for those who want a sporty design.
The headlights have been scaled to a smaller size than the previous model, but retain the unique two-layer lighting, which uses chrome stripes drawn from the grille as a separator. The bottom edge of the bumper is adorned with small chrome, flicked vertically up at both corners of the bumper, while the taillights share the same design as Alphard, but with different details inside the lamp.

The dimensions and dimensions of the exterior body of the new Toyota Alphard and Vellfire are as follows:

Length 4,940 mm
Width 1,850 mm
Height 1,880 mm
Wheelbase: 3,010 mm

Japan Specs Expect 3 types of power to choose from as follows:

Petrol 2.5 liters

2.5-litre petrol engine with maximum power of 182 hp and maximum torque of 235 Nm It is paired with a CVT automatic transmission, front-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive.

Petrol 2.5L Hybrid

The 2.5-litre petrol engine works with an electric motor with a maximum output of 246 hp and a maximum torque of 316 Nm. It is paired with a CVT automatic transmission, front-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive.

2.4-litre Turbo Hybrid petrol

The 2.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine works with an electric motor with e-AXLE system with a maximum output of 367 horsepower and a maximum torque of 550 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic, front-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive.

Prices for the new Vellfire in Japan range from 6,748,000 yen to 8,920,000 yen in Executive Lounge E-Four grades.

The All NEW Toyota Alphard and Vellfire are scheduled to make their world debut in Japan on June 21st.

Overwhelming demand - Orders for all-new AH40 2023 Toyota Alphard and Vellfire suspended in Japan.

Since its launch in June, its waiting period is at least a year but according to Japanese media, some dealerships have suspended orders due to overwhelming demand.

Once the delivery date is extended to August 2024, we decided to stop accepting orders from customers
