In April 2024, the Bentley 6.0-litre turbocharged W12 engine will be discontinued. The Bentley Batur which makes 740 horsepower (up from the other models' 729) serves as a send-off, which has already been sold out. Other models with the W12 will remain for the time being, although slots are limited.

Once the W-12 departs the production line, Bentley says it will be replaced with V-8 and V-6 hybrid production as the company continues to transition its lineup towards hybrids and EVs.
Essentially made up of two VR6 engines, the W-12 has been around since the early 2000s in various forms. Besides the wide range of Bentley models in which it's available, including the Continental GT, the Flying Spur, and the Bentayga, it was previously offered in other VW Group vehicles such as the Audi A8 and Volkswagen Phaeton.

Car and Driver.
For me, Bentley will always be synonymous with the incredible 6.75 L twin-turbo V8 which had been around for 60 years and used to power Arnage and Mulsanne. Still remember those amazing Top Gear episodes with Jeremy and The Stig thrashing these cars around the TG track.
Also, wonder what plans Rimac has for the Bugatti brand as he mentioned continuing with ICE engines.
