I came across the Lagonda Taraf which was made by Lagonda, a Luxury Marque owned by Aston Martin since 1947. Taraf in Arabic means Ultimate Luxury and it was priced at 1 Million Dollars at launch in 2015. That was twice the cost of Rolls Royce Phantom and more than 5 times expensive than the Mercedes-Maybach S600! Initially the plan was to make 200 cars but eventually only 120 cars were sold. As the name suggests, the Taraf was built solely for the Middle-East market.
