Re: KIA Seltos facelift spied in Korea

Albeit in different segments, but looks like Seltos will face some heat from the updated Brezza launching today.
The current gen Brezza used to lose sales to the mid variants of Seltos P or the base variants of Seltos D.
Doesn't look purely coincidental that the updated Seltos is revealed on the same day as the launch of the updated Brezza, given the kind of sales numbers Seltos garners Kia India.

Aren't brezza and seltos from different segments? Even if the new brezza gets launched Today, I feel it would not impact seltos's sales by any margin.

Even if we take into consideration that the lower / mid variants of seltos take some of the sales from Brezza, the percentage would be less. Reason why brezza lost considerable percentage might be because the previous design was looking dated and they've been pushing it so far.

Any confirmation about panaromic sunroof? That will be a game changer and real threat to Creta's numbers.

They indeed are. That is exactly what the first sentence says.
Also, I never meant Brezza denting the Seltos numbers by a huge margin or vice versa. But IMHO, there will be some damage done.

Definitely a looker. Will sell like hot cakes anyway. Only if Kia can improve on safety aspect for India, they'll gain even bigger prospect numbers

Exterior looks more .. er .. badass! Pardon the reuse of their marketing tagline, but its very apt. The light bar integration at the rear is nicely done too.

The rotary gear knob inside gives it a much more modern look. And the brown-black combination interiors makes it look more upmarket.

Don't like the Alcazar inspired "Dinner-Plate + Spider-Web" alloys though.

Re: KIA Seltos facelift spied in Korea

Will wait for more pictures, but the OG Seltos was more appealing with its clean, classic cuts and looks. It was an extremely refined design. This looks a bit busy, and not in the good way. The OG Seltos, especially the white GT line with red inserts is probably one the best designed cars to hit Indian roads in the past few years.

What's wrong with the designers of alloy wheels on Alcazar and now Seltos

Why are they so hell bent on making alloy wheel shaped like flower!

Re: KIA Seltos facelift spied in Korea

Most of the facelifted areas (front facia, rear, alloys, etc) looks like aftermarket upgrades to me. I am unable to perceive it as a facelift at all. I don't see this (facelift model) making any significant impact to the sales or customer/ownership experience for KIA, here in India.
Of course, unless I am missing something.

Looking amazing! This will definitely move good numbers. That new dial/infotainment screen is sleeker and looking more like the newer Mercedes and BMW screens.

Re: KIA Seltos facelift spied in Korea

That's a looker. No word on the sunroof yet. The cars in the photos above do not have any kind of sunroof.
Also hope they introduce that outer color in India too.

2023 KIA Seltos facelift official TVC.

Looks more cooler and "badass" IMO.

Re: KIA Seltos facelift spied in Korea

Any Idea by when should this launch?

What do the esteemed group members suggest for somebody who is in the market currently for base diesel variant?

Is it wise to go ahead and book the current model or it will be wiser to wait for the updated facelift?

2023 Kia Seltos spied in India .

Kia recently unveiled the facelifted Seltos in South Korea and now, the same model has been spied in India.

Spy shots show new LED headlights and DRLs and a redesigned front bumper.

Could feature a new digital driver’s display, a redesigned 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, and a rotary gear dial for the automatic variants.

The biggest addition could be ADAS, since Hyundai plans to introduce the radar-based safety technology in its lineup.

No mechanical changes expected onboard.
It’s expected to go on sale by the early months of 2023, around the same time when Hyundai launches the facelifted version of the Creta.
