Seriously, BMW designers are just focusing on how to make the kidney grills even more bigger. Its such a shame that a company like BMW is making this type of car, it will do nothing but increase the sales of Audi, Mercedes etc.

Looks like they are going to make the BMW Kidney Grille meme a reality. My favorite BMW design is the BMW M2, don't know what happened to their designers after that.

I never imagined that a day would come that made the Chris Bangle designed 7-series look beautiful.

The front looks like a flared nostril. The rear looks like a bunch of school kids literally went hammer and tongs with the sheet metal.

The romance of the kidney grill has been replaced by the mild infuriation towards the ‘nostri-grill’

This reminds me of the Chris bangle era 7 series. Only that this one makes the old 7 series look better. That's not saying much though. Even the kuv100 and the mahindra nuvo sport looked better than the old 7 series.

The new XM is from an another planet, where ugly is beautiful.

Seems like BMW hired some Htundai designers and let them get high on the job. Agree with the others - this time it's not just the grille. Nobody is even noticing the interiors.

Not sure how many noticed: we now see what BMW will do with their iteration of the Split lights in the front- the Headlights are hidden under the Black glass in the upper bumper and next to the lower part of the grill. the slit of light above will merely be running lights.

There are lots of elements in the exterior design that are far too bold for acceptance but that is the very reason it could sell too. I believe the radical bits will get tuned in the production model.

However, I hope they do nothing about the Interior. It's pretty good. Now, choice of materials in the concept increase the appeal. Choices at production remains to be seen.

There will likely be three models part of the XM lineup - BMW XM Red Label, BMW XM Black Label. The top model is rumored to be called BMW XM Competition.
