MINI has officially previewed the next-generation iteration of its 3-door hatchback offering. The official preview images showcase the upcoming model, covered in camouflage revealing little to no details.



Having said that, the overhaul silhouette of the upcoming model is visible. The preview images also showcase a closed front grille, indicating an electric powertrain underneath. Other exterior details include rounded LED headlamps, LED taillights and multi-spoke alloy wheels.

The next-generation 3-door model is expected to come with a completely revamped interior. The cabin is likely to feature a host of tech along with multiple personalisation options.



The new-gen MINI 3-door model will be introduced sometime in 2023. The upcoming model is expected to be offered in an electric version, alongside the conventional petrol and diesel engine options. MINI has already announced its plans to go full electric, with its final combustion engine-powered model set to debut in 2025.



MINI is also expected to introduce a more practical 5-door variant at a slightly later stage. There could also be a convertible version of the model at some point.

Sharing some leaks of the car. These photos were of cars being tested in China. Oddly the rear end looks completely different to the camo’ed car in the official preview! I wonder if this is the design that will make it to production

Wow, that derriere is giving off some really strong Spiderman vibes. And not in a good way! I sincerely hope this isn't the design that will make it to the final production. But after BMW's hideous XM concept, who knows!

What a Gorgeous Gorgeous design! I always felt that the modern Minis were overdone - and embellished with bling and accessories. This one is a nod the original small car - minimalist yet endearing. And has a quirky vibe (but very different from the quirkiness from across the channel).

And that interior looks spectacular.

Interesting!! It looks more like an EV rather an ICE, its certainly not pleasing to the eye, would any day prefer the earlier current avatar.

Is the white one EV? Headlights seem different from that of camo'd cars. Also doesn't have the hood vent or side blinkers on front 3 quarter panel. The interior feels so electric car like too.

Your guess is absolutely spot on. Its the EV as it doesnt have the hood scoop, which is one of the main clues in itself.
