The 2022 Lexus LX600 has been spotted for the first time since the launch of the Land Cruiser J300 on which it is based.

Engines are most likely going to be shared with the LC J300.

2022 Lexus LX600 teased ahead of October 14 reveal.

Lexus is getting ready to take the wraps off its luxury equivalent of new Land Cruiser.

The partial view of the new Lexus LX 600 tailgate shows L-shaped LED tail lights, and what appears to be a full-width LED light bar.

Interesting to see they've done away with the 'L' logo on the tailgate and gone with the 'LEXUS' script logo instead. More and more manufacturers are doing this, like Jaguar and Skoda.

2022 Lexus LX600 revealed. The new LX is here with more luxury, more tech, and more grille than ever before.

New Lexus LX 600 will be offered in Standard, Premium, Luxury, Ultra Luxury and F Sport trims.



The 2022 Lexus LX features an evolutionary design with a prominent spindle grille that consists of seven floating bars with hollow center sections to improve engine cooling.



The model also sports streamlined bodywork, which contrasts with more pronounced wheel arches that house 18-, 20- or 22-inch alloy wheels.



Lexus LX retains its 112.2 inch (2,850 mm) wheelbase.



Under the hood, the 5.7-liter V8 engine has been replaced by a new twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 that produces 409 hp and 649 Nm. The engine is connected to a new ten-speed automatic transmission.



The F Sport, the model is distinguished by a mesh grille with a black chrome surround as well as exclusive 22-inch forged aluminum wheels.



The traditional “L” logo has been replaced by “Lexus” lettering.



Lexus' first dual touchscreen setup measuring 12.3 inches, the upper screen shows navigation and audio controls, plus the off-road details of the Multi-Terrain Monitor system when you're going off the beaten path.

The lower seven-inch screen provides quick access to the climate settings and can work as a support screen for the Multi-Terrain Select by showing camera feed on the upper screen and off-road data on the smaller display.



New Lexus LX gets an Ultra Luxury grade with a four-seat arrangement boasting independent rear seats that can recline at up to 48 degrees for greater comfort.



The front passenger seat can also fold down at the push of a button for greater legroom of up to 43 inches (110 centimeters) and there's also a deployable foot rest coming from behind the front seat.



The LX Ultra Luxury gets additional goodies, including overhead ceiling vents, reading lights, and a rear-seat entertainment system with dual screens as standard equipment.



The 2022 LX comes equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 suite of driver assistance systems.

It features an improved Pre-Collision System with Frontal Collision Warning.
- Automatic Emergency Braking as well as Pedestrian and Bicyclist Detection.
- It also includes All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist (Lane Centering) and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist.
- Intelligent High Beams, Emergency Steering Assist and Road Sign Assist.



Lexus will have the fourth-generation LX at dealers in the United States during the first quarter of 2022.

The LX Ultra Luxury gets additional goodies

This is the model will be a great differentiator with LC. For the first time, we can see so vast difference between the LC & LX. Toyota should bring this in India, I won’t be surprised if it’s prioritised over the LC. Can be a good alternate and dependable option against RR Vogue.

Any price around 2.5 - 2.75 Cr may get a lot of takers.

Wow!! Kudos!! Looks like Lexus has won the coveted imaginary Biggest Grille on a Vehicle award which they kicked off with the Spindle design theme.

Hope we have reached the peak of this crazy parabola and get back to normal size soon. Though with headlights getting smaller with LED tech, more acreage for grilles are being created. More grille!! ( Like more Cowbell!!)

This downsizing of the powertrain from 5.7L to 3.5L (including in the LC300) shows the sensitive and imperative environmental issue globally, the emission norms and regulations.

For such a heavy mammoth, the stress on this 3.5L engine will be heavy - I prefer at least a 4L engine. Nevertheless, this engine will be way better in terms of FE and of course, more environmentally friendly compared to the old 5.2L one.

As such, I personally prefer the LC300 over this LX - Why should I pay extra for the same car that is just rebadged to a more premium brand?

I wonder what the Coeffecient of Drag for this vehicle is. I am guessing that when this car was taken into a wind tunnel, all the air came back the same side where it entered

BMW & Lexus are in the race for the ugliest grilles ever competition.
Just when we thought that BMW is winning the bout with the hideous M4, Lexus seems to have given them a knock-out blow with this.

On a side note, the interiors are surprising restrained, when compared to the outrageous exterior.

All that bling and it doesn't even look good. Same for the other luxury monstrosity the MB GLS 600.
I guess except Land Rover no one knows how to make SUVs truly luxurious yet good looking.
