Mercedes-Benz F1 team principal Toto Wolff to sell his Ferrari collection Mercedes-Benz AMG Petronas F1 team's CEO & Principal, Toto Wolff is reportedly selling off his Ferrari collection, along with a limited-edition AMG Black Series.
Wolff has taken the help of Tom Hartley JNR auction house to sell three cars from his personal collection as individual lots. The cars include a Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, a Ferrari Enzo and a Mercedes-AMG SL65 Black Series.
Among the three, the Mercedes-AMG SL65 Black Series is said to have a maximum mileage of 5,000 km. The Ferrari Enzo has covered even less, with just around 2,000 km on the odometer, while the LaFerrari Aperta is reported to have just delivery miles.
Reports also suggest that the AMG SL65 Black Series and the LaFerrari Aperta were brand new purchases, featuring even the original sale certificates. The Ferrari Enzo, however, was bought by Toto Wolff from Tom Hartley Jnr, back in 2014.
Reports stated that the reason for Toto Wolff selling off the three cars is simply because he doesn't have enough time to drive them. He also stated that it doesn't particularly look good for him to be driving Ferrari cars, considering he does own a substantial share of the Mercedes team.
All three cars are said to go up for auction soon. Considering all of them have very few miles, along with the fact that they belong to a well-known owner, could see them receive a good demand with soaring prices.
