Ferrari 812 Competizione & Competizione A unveiled with the brand's most powerful V12 engine Ferrari has unveiled the limited-edition 812 Competizione and Competizione A models. The special edition models are based on the 812 Superfast and 812 GTS, respectively.
Both models will be available in limited numbers, with the Competizione having a production run of 999 units and the Competizione A restricted to 599 units.
The Ferrari 812 Competizione and Competizione A models come with a number of fresh design elements and changes. These include a revised front bumper and splitter, a carbon fibre blade running across the bonnet, a built-in spoiler, a large diffuser and rectangular exhaust tips positioned at the edges of the diffuser. The 812 Competizione gets with fastback styling with an aluminium structure replacing the rear glass window.
The Ferrari 812 Competizione and Competizione A are powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine. It now produces 819 BHP @ 9,250 rpm and 692 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. The engine redlines at 9,500 rpm, making it the highest-revving and the most powerful V12 production engine in a Ferrari to date.
The engine comes paired with a 7-speed F1 DCT automatic gearbox. Both models are capable of accelerating from 0 - 100 km/h in 2.85 seconds and have a claimed top speed of 340 km/h. Link to Team-BHP news
