Skoda has released design sketches providing a sneak preview of the revised Karoq.

One of the two design sketches shows the freshened ŠKODA KAROQ’s new, even more distinctive front. The ŠKODA grille has increased in width and now features impressive double slats as well as a new hexagonal design, with a wide air intake underneath.

The headlights are overall more slender than in the predecessor version and extend all the way to the grille. Their dynamic appearance is underscored by redesigned daytime running lights that are now composed of two separate elements each. Underneath is a second lighting unit for the fog lights or, in the top variant, a separate LED module. This headlight configuration enables a characteristic four-eyed driving lights look after dark.

The second sketch previews the KAROQ’s redesigned rear. In addition to a longer rear spoiler and a visually updated rear apron with a black diffuser, the tail lights now sport a new, sharply drawn design as well. Like the headlights, they have been slimmed down and emphasise the vehicle’s width. In signature ŠKODA style, crystalline structures add a special visual effect to the tail lights, which will retain their characteristic C-shaped graphic.

Though the changes are minimal,the design looks wonderful.Wish Skoda brings this to India as CBU/CKD. Bringing it as a CKD will give an option for competitive pricing and increasing the sales.

Karoq in red with those alloys..Man! Hope it comes to India next year in CKD form and gets priced around 25-28Lakhs on-road. I will anyday prefer it over Kushaq, for its dimensions and built quality.

Where do i put my money? I'd assume around 24-28 lakhs which isn't much via CKD form.

My only wish would be that they somehow integrate an electric motor too, but i highly doubt Skoda has done that.

ŠKODA KAROQ: the successful SUV gets a stylish update

The standard equipment includes, for example, Matrix-LED headlights or an adaptive DCC chassis.

The instrument panel is decorated with Piano Black trim, while in the door there are decorative strips with Carbon decor. The ceiling is also black, as are the sports seats with integrated ThermoFlux-covered headrests. As standard, the interior also offers ambient lighting, a three-spoke sports steering wheel, decorative boarding strips or a leather gear lever decorated with contrasting silver seams.

Safer and Smarter:

The Škoda Karoq offers up to nine airbags, including driver and front passenger airbags, front side airbags, head airbags, driver's knee airbags and, optionally, rear side airbags. These are part of the Proactive Passenger Protection package, which is now also equipped with sensors in the rear of the car. If the sensors detect a risk of a collision or emergency or panic braking, the system automatically closes open windows or a panoramic roof, triggers warning lights and fastens the front seat belts. In the event of a collision, the multi-collision brake stops.

As standard, Karoq offers the Front Assist system, and optionally the Assisted Driving 2.0 system, available in two versions. It also includes an improved version of Traffic Sign Recognition, which uses a better camera, Adaptive Lane Guidance, which also recognizes roadworks and all road boundaries, Lane Keeping Assist, which is active up to a distance of 70 m and warns the driver in good time. , if other vehicles are approaching from behind, or Automatic Parking, Column Assist and Emergency Assist.

Assisted driving 2.0 Top also offers a panoramic camera system, which uses four cameras to project the surroundings of the car on the infotainment display. When parking, smart parking sensors help, which can stop the car on their own in the event of an imminent collision and prevent unpleasant situations in the parking lot.
