Re: The best Car Podcasts to listen to

Carfection is my favourite when it comes to podcasts. They have some lovely videos as well.

Donut media is also great, especially when James Pumphrey is around

I'd like to add a few to this list you've created.

Savagegeese

Link to the channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/savagegeese

This channel has one of the best car reviews I've come across so far. Visually pleasing and interesting at the same time. I rate this highly along with Carfection. They speak about technical things which are otherwise not mention in most car reviews, things which are not mentioned at all by any Indian publications.

They also have podcasts, although they haven't posted any podcasts lately. Their older podcasts are available and they are worth a listen.

Regular Car Reviews (RCR)

Link to the channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/RegularCars

Their reviews are quirky, philosophical, witty and might not be to everyone's taste. If you like humour, cars and you do not mind some adult language thrown in for good measure, this is the channel for you.

They also have podcasts which are long and interesting. Take a listen!

Re: The best Car Podcasts to listen to

I would love to add YouTube channel SeenThroughGlass's Podcast BehindTheGlass into this list. Although not entirely revolving around cars, it covers all of Sam's adventures throughout the years including his DriveTheWorld series and a lot of other interesting topics in the automotive scene. A great guy IMO.

Re: The best Car Podcasts to listen to

I haven't missed an episode of Collecting Cars or Carmudgeon Show. Both have one of my favorite auto journalists in Chris and Jason. There is no narrative and their strong love for cars and driving shines through. Besides, I really relate to their choice of cars!

I listen to them using the Podcast app in my phone. With Collecting Cars, it totally works. But with Carmudgeon, I do miss the pictures and videos that they put across at times. And along with Hyphen Scott, they talk a lot about older cars - so additional references do help! So, YouTube fares better there but I still prefer to reduce screen time during these unprecedented times.

And what ever you do, do not miss the episode where Chris is talking to Nicky Grist on WRC legends. It is one of the longest at a whopping 3.2 hours, but it is one of the best podcasts ever! And they could have easily gone on for many more hours! I felt like I was right in the room with them and time just flew! Brilliant!

Re: The best Car Podcasts to listen to

I forgot to call out 'Beyond the Grid' hosted by the brilliant Tom Clarkson for all following F1. Tom is well prepared and brings out the best in his hosts.

If you haven't followed it, there is no better episode to start than the latest where we have Alex Zanardi discussing his incredible life. His F1 career was short but there are a lot of incredible insights with a very straight talking and honest Alex. What a beautiful person he is! A must listen episode even if you aren't a fan of F1.

Latest news from "The Carmudgeon Show " is bit of a sad one.
Jason Cammisa is leaving ISSIMI and the podcast. Watch the last podcast with him below.

Re: The best Car Podcasts to listen to

I would highly recommend Smith and Sniff podcast as well.
Hosted by Jonny Smith you may know from Fifth Gear and Richard Porter, scriptwriter for Top Gear & Grand Tour, so you know what to expect.
Sidenote: If you guys haven't, also try books by Richard Porter

Re: The best Car Podcasts to listen to

Two new videos from Carmudgeon today. One a podcast with Jason Cammisa returning for an hour long cameo and other one this short bit about the Lamborghini Miura.

I felt the video to be poetic to watch and deserves to be shared in this forum. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Re: The best Car Podcasts to listen to

Please tell me you did not get goosebumps watching this video hearing the Porker at full chat. Special mention to timestamp 16:45 and beyond in the video. I may never be able to afford one of these in my lifetime or even see one in flesh. This could be the most intimate we could get with this car.

Re: The best Car Podcasts to listen to

Found a new good one to listen to. Its called "The Intercooler". Its hosted by Dan Prosser and Andrew Frankel. Andrew Frankel is a veteran automotive journalist and a treasure trove of car knowledge and Dan was a presenter at EVO magazine. What's so good about this one is unapologetically geeky about their love for cars and from start to finish it is all about cars and stays on topic.

Here is snapshot of one of the latest episodes featuring James May himself.

Actually, the podcast will live on under the Hagerty podcast network. Jason and Derek are still cranking out absolute gold there.
