Looks good except for the frowning face with complete black grill. A line on one of the white ones seems to correct it a bit.

I think some Lexus designers may have been sent to Toyota recently. We see a lot of angled panels on their cars and SUVs There have been good ones like the new Sienna though.

Yet another tantalising prospect that India, supposedly one of the largest and fastest growing markets is denied. Its shameful that Toyota and others find South East Asian markets worth the while for launching a myriad of the latest gen products, while they still ply the hackneyed behemoths like Innova, Fortuner.
The government must seriously review their automotive duty and GST structure. It seems ridiculous to me that they still havent focused on true hybrids that can become so popular and suit the environmental purpose.

Better they don't launch it here. If launched it will start above 25 lakhs. It will make seltos, creta and city look underpriced and their manufacturers will increase the price happily

In straight conversion, the prices tally to ₹23-29 lakhs, but we have to factor in Thai car prices, which are always more than ours.

The Yaris (Yaris ATIV) starts at ₹13 lakhs for them, while the Innova is ₹27-34 lakhs and the Fortuner 2.4D G variant starts from ₹32 lakhs.

So by that account, the Corolla Cross may cost some ₹15-23 lakhs in India.

Of course with the ~₹10 lakhs Urban Cruiser and the rebadged next gen Vitara as a Creta rival, TKM has all the leeway to price the Corolla Cross till the Fortuner, if they show the generosity to launch it here, that is.

Love the design. The rear is designed perfectly but the front not so. Yet the front looks unique. Associating this vehicle with a Corolla is a bit tough. Toyota is known to choose great names for its cars. They should have tried harder while naming this one as well.

I dont think it will make it to India anytime soon as it is based on the TNGA platform and Toyota doesnt make that here. Else even the RAV4 would have showed up here by now.

Looks neat though. I hope the 4.4m Crossover which they are co developing with Maruti (next Vitara) looks as good as this one.
