On the Indonesian XL7, apart from the other cosmetic changes and accessories pack, one thing is very prominent.....16 Inch alloys

And Vola our own XL6 transforms into a SUV, as mentioned in the brochure...

Also noteworthy is that just like Baleno, Toyota is also rumoured to being in an Ertiga based MPV......is it the XL7 SUV ???

Not sure if #marutisuzukiXL6 is taking note of this and would it make sense to offer 16" alloys as an option pack in India too !!

From what I could read on the OEM tyre size, its 195/60/R16

Didn't know that the XL7 nameplate was used earlier by Suzuki. In fact, it was first used back in '98.
The first gen was an elongated Grand Vitara, the second gen was based on Chevy Equinox.
The one I spotted was a second gen, looked similar to the Chevy Captiva sold in India.

16 inch wheels changed the entire look of the car! Why Maruti is being so cheap to continue with 15inch wheels painted black? I never saw a Maruti with 17inch wheels (leaving Grand Vitara and Kizashi behind - they deserved 18) nor more than 2 airbags.
