Re: USA: Some drivers forget to turn off cars with keyless ignition; die inhaling carbon monoxide fu

During one visit to public parking, the following incident happened.
An elderly person who was driving the car and had key, got down at ground floor asking the younger member of the family to park and return, but the car stopped midway and driver could not start the car without key, causing a jam and commotion. So switchover from conventional to newer systems comes with newer set up of instructions.

Re: USA: Some drivers forget to turn off cars with keyless ignition; die inhaling carbon monoxide fu

I think this thread needs small update by everyone.
Instead of saying my car did this when I walked away with smart key in my pocket, let us say the name of the car and year of make so that people reading this will come to know which cars have which feature enabled if you walk away with key in pocket.

The simplest implementation that car manufactures can do is make your horn sound once or twice if you walk away from car with engine ON with smart key in your pocket.
