Indonesia: Datsun Go facelift spied Datsun recently revealed the Cross in Indonesia. Now, a spy image of the Datsun Go facelift has surfaced online.
The facelift version of the Go hatchback was spotted at a dealership in Indonesia. The image shows the new Datsun Cross with a silver car in the background that appears to be the Go hatchback with an updated front end sans the circular fog lamps of the Cross. As per the spy image, the Go gets a wider front grille and slightly different headlamps. The front bumper has also been redesigned along with the fog lamp housings.
While the spy image does not reveal the car's interior, it is believed that the Go facelift might get an updated dashboard similar to the Cross. The hatchback might also get the touchscreen infotainment system from the Cross.
Mechanically, the Go facelift is expected to be identical to the outgoing model. In India, the Datsun Go is offered with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which makes 67 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm. The engine comes paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The Datsun Go facelift is likely to be launched in India sometime in the near future, however Datsun has not made any official announcement regarding this yet.
