The Jetta 2019 1.4 TSI Automatic (8 gears) consumes 12.75 km / l in the city and 17 km / l on the road. The combined consumption is 14.75 Km / l.

The Jetta also uses an active front grille, with shutters closing at certain speeds when the engine needs less airflow. The front bumper has an "air curtain" design that lessens the turbulence on the wheels. The panels under the body were sculpted to help ensure that the suspension components do not create unnecessary obstructions of air. The rear styling helps to further soften the airflow. With these measures, the drag coefficient was 0.27 (the lowest category).

Another important boost comes from the new 8-speed automatic transmission, which provides a wider range of drive ratios which allow for more efficient operation at higher speeds

2020 Volkswagen Jetta GLI Confirmed for US market. Will come in AT and MT variants.

With Independent Rear Suspension, the souped-up GLI will focus on the driving experience first and foremost.

The 2.0-liter TSI turbo four-cylinder, which is related to the engine in the Golf GTI, the engine develops 220 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, in comparison to the 1.4-liter TSI in the bone-stock Jetta (147 horsepower and 184 pound-feet)

VW Launches NEW JETTA as the NEW VENTO in Uruguay!




The model will be imported from Mexico, with 1.4 Turbo engine, and option of automatic transmission.

The new Jetta arrives in the Uruguian market in three versions: Comfortline 1.4 TSI M / T ; Comfortline 1.4 TSI Tiptronic ) and Highline Tiptronic ($ 37,900 - $ 147,500).

The model is based on the MQB platform, and measures 4,697 mm in length, 1,839 mm in width and 1,459 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,791. The trunk has 510 liters of capacity, expandable by folding the backrest in the ratio of 60:40, but without volume declared by the factory. The fuel tank has 50 liters of capacity

In relation to the empty weights, 1,373 kg (1.4 TSI M / T) and 1,393 kg (1.4 TSI Tiptronic). The steering is rack and pinion with speed-dependent electromechanical assistance (Servotronic). The brakes, meanwhile, are ventilated discs for the front axle and solid discs at the rear
