The 2017 Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser image of the 2017 E-Class Cabriolet, which is scheduled to be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. This unveil will complete the new-gen E-Class series, as the German automaker had revealed the sedan, coupe and estate models last year.
The E-Class Cabriolet will be a four-seat convertible, which will be borrowing most of its design cues from its coupe sibling, except for a foldable soft top. It is also likely to come with some added features.
The 2017 E-Class Cabriolet is expected to be unveiled with 3 variants: E 220d, E 300 and a top-end E 400. The entry-level E 220d will likely be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel unit, the E 300 is expected to get a 2.0-litre petrol, while the range-topping E 400 will likely be equipped with a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine. All these variants will be offered with Mercedes' 9G-tronic gearbox.
In addition to the E-Class Cabriolet, Mercedes will also be showcasing 33 other models at the upcoming motor show, including the Mercedes-Maybach G-Class, new GLA and special edition models of the Mercedes-Benz SL and SLC roadsters. Link to Team-BHP News
