This accessorized front end is interesting IMO- the way it resembles the FJ Cruiser from Toyota. Not seen in other images - so may not be a standard look.
Toyota's version (if it happens) could look like this?
Maxabout has went and claimed Jimny will come to India in 2019, but I couldn't find anything from Suzuki regarding this.
When it does come to India will it be sold through Maruti Suzuki showrooms, or Nexa? I feel Nexa would be a better place for this vehicle, and judging by local production I dont think it's gonna be priced exorbitantly.
Will it compete with the Thar? Undercut it even?

I am so eagerly waiting for this car to launch. It will perfectly compliment the Laura Tsi in my garage. The Tsi for the scorching the highways, and the Jimny for everywhere else. clap:

Just check out the spec sheet: a ladder-frame chassis, beam axles at both ends, a high seating position, a short wheelbase. You can speculate on the result (a pogo stick will probably be better through a series of curves), but the long-travel suspension and diddy overhangs for good departure angles should deal with huge lumps and bumps with surprising ease, even if engines are small.
