The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross facelift has been spotted testing in Europe for the very first time.

Wearing minimal camouflage, the SX4 S-Cross is expected to have a new front bumper with a redesigned grille up front, and differently styled headlights.

On the rear, the taillamp section looks to have been updated.

Expect more news on this facelift to come in the next few months.

Hmm...Smoked single barrel headlamps, a new grill with vertical slats, equally boring alloy wheels (now in a darker shade) and different elements inside the tail lamps are all the differences that I can identify on first impressions. Going by the severe criticism of this car's looks and appearance that I've seen on the forum and among social groups, Maruti will need much more than a mere facelift to get the S-Cross moving out of the showrooms (especially the overpriced 1.6L).

How difficult is it for the designers to design an attractive-looking alloy wheel? Are they trying to bring back plastic wheel caps trend by any chance?

Autoevolution speculates this facelift will come with the 1.4 boosterjet Petrol engine ( ~ 136 hp and 220 Nm of torque).
This configuration (engine) is likely to be released in China first and then to other markets.

Any news if the face-lifted S-Cross will be launched in India next year? Or any plans for the existing S-Cross to have a petrol option?

As per the below article the S-Cross face-lift is to be launched in UK by July which will also have the 1.4l boosterjet.

The new Baleno gets here by June and will have the new 1-litre Boosterjet petrol.

The new iM4 (they are calling it the new Ignis in Japan) won't get here until September but it too will have that 1-litre Boosterjet engine.

From January, it will have the Vitara Automatic SUV diesel 1.6 Litre GLX 4x4 ALLGRIP version. And a Vitara S Limited Edition 1.4 petrol Boosterjet from April.

There will be a special edition of the Swift 1.2 Litre GLX by May.

The S-Cross gets a facelift and a 1.4-litre Boosterjet petrol - that's for July.

SX4 Cross facelift spied again - launch in 2016 ( International markets) - Rear LED light ( Baleno?).
Expect changes to the front grill, interiors could be similar to the S Cross with smartplay.
