Looks like someone took a picture of Veyron SuperSport and went crazy in MS Paint.

I'd take this with a pinch of salt.

Veyron itself was supposed to be a limited edition model. They went much over the initial target and some would call it greedy.

In the super car owning billionaire league, exclusivity counts for a lot and the owners would not be impressed seeing one in their neighbourhood. Many pay for this exclusivity alone.

If anybody with the money can get one, the desirability quotient goes down drastically.

This might be the "Super Veyron" that Bugatti is working on :thumbs up

Though these aren't the official renderings but yes the Super Veyron is bound for a reveal in 2014 & expected to have a power output close to 1500 HP :D

The "Super Veyron" will be the same as the current veyron but with a few changes on the exterior, The above pics are renderings of the next gen veyron which will replace the current car.

The "Super Veyron" is supposed to be the last Veyron.

Also note;

Quote:

The Super Veyron will make extensive use of carbon fiber which will lower weight by approximately 200 kg (440 lbs) so it should tip the scales at around 1,688 kg (3,721 lbs). In addition, output of the quad-turbo W16 engine will be lifted from 1,184 bhp (883 kW) to more than 1,500 bhp (1,118 kW)
& IMO this will be the Super Veyron :)

The designer should be convicted as a war criminal in The Hague for crimes against humanity..

it looks like a smug and ugly Cheshire cat :/ I never personally enjoyed looking at the original design but it did go together well and made all the right impressions. I doubt the guys at Bugatti would make it look this ugly

This is clearly just a Photoshop job gone really bad.

Looks like a bad facelift.

But in reality, as another member pointed out. There wouldn't be a truly "Next Veyron", the next model from Bugatti will be the Galiber, which has already been showcased, it's a 4 door 4 seater coupe. with a W16.

Considering the photos were sent by a close insider source of Bugatti. The pics might not be of the actual car but instead could be representing the direction in which Bugatti is looking towards the next-gen Veyron. i.e. The car might not be curvy like the current car and instead could be a more bold and in your face design.

Just yesterday it emerged that the new Hennessey Venom F5 complete with around 1400 hp will target a top speed of 290 mph. Now it has emerged that the successor to the might Bugatti Veyron could have a targeted top speed of 286 mph along with a previously reported peak power output in the region of 1500 hp!
According to the latest word, the Veyron’s successor will feature an updated version of the current car’s quad-turbocharged 8.0-litre W16 engine. However, it will now incorporate at least one electric motor and deliver in the region of 1479 hp (1500 ps). These figures reportedly come from officials involved in the car’s development.
Details about the new powertrain are even more exciting. It is believed that the Veyron’s multi-point injection system will be replaced with a new direct-injection combustion process to help allow the car to pass Euro 6 emissions standards. Additionally, there’s a chance that the traditional turbocharges could be replaced with electric turbos to improve low-end torque with the electric motor possibly mounted within the gearbox housing alongside a lithium ion battery.
It is said to be in the midst of conceptual engineering tests and could be unveiled sometime in 2016. Customer deliveries would then likely commence in 2017.
Interestingly, sources close to Bugatti have confirmed that some test mules for the Veyron’s successor are out and about. In fact, there are five. As a result, it is very likely that the intriguing prototype pictured above is in fact testing technologies for the new Veyron.
Despite the additional of hybrid tech, Bugatti is said to be more than keen to minimise the weight of the car compared to the Veyron which even in Super Sport specification, weighs a hefty 1840 kg.
While speaking with Autocar, an insider said, “Much of the early construction work has been focused on the carbonfibre monocoque. We have a lot of expertise centring around lightweight construction within the [Volkswagen] group and
we’re drawing on this as we begin to lock in various engineering targets.”

As we know, the superstar hypercar Veyron is nearing its production era. Reports from car and driver indicates that Bugatti is planning to replace the Veyron, with another hypercar, the Chiron. The name is said to be inspired by Bugatti's racing driver, Louis Chiron.
At the moment, except for the name, no other details are available.

The successor to the Veyron is to be called the "Chiron". Commemorating epic Bugatti driver Louis Chiron. The Chiron, is expected to be powered by a hybrid, 8.0-liter W16 producing 1,479 horsepower and topping out at 286 mph.
Looks like Hennessey has their work cut out for them if they're going to beat those stats.

The whole aesthetic part needs a new approach. Why would anyone buy this when there are 1000bhp super cars from Mclaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Zonda, Koenisegg ?
