1500 HP. My God!

How long till someone comes out with even more power? My bet is on Koenigsegg (mostly) or either SSC or Hennessey.

Glad you asked!:D Here's the baby who is gonna give the Chiron a run for it's money! The Koenigsegg Regera

Considering the fact that Bugatti has chose to stick with the quad turbo W16 motor of the Veyron(which is in no way bad! Who doesnt love a 16 cylinder monster in their car? stupid:) , Regera should have a massive weight advantage as well. Cant wait to pit these uber cars against each other !

I really like what I see! :D

In an interview with German publication Bild.de, VW Group head Martin Winterkorn reportedly confirmed that the new Bugatti will use a hybrid powertrain.

Winterkorn's statement reads, "Next to the petrol model there will be a hybrid version with added performance for the first time". Though his comment suggests that a hybrid will accompany a conventional petrol powered model, the final outcome remains to be seen. The Veyron was developed with a very heavy investment, to the extent that the company made a loss on each car sold. It suffices to say, that offering two separate powertrains on the successor will not be a cheap affair.

Seems to be headed to Pebble Beach as a preview viewing for a select audience.

Forget everything you’ve seen so far regarding the bugatti Chiron… It looks NOTHING like any of the renders circulating the internet. Andy Wallace showed us the car today… It’s beautiful… very aggressive and very sporty! Sadly I can’t share anything else at this stage.

Bugatti has released a video teaser for the yet to be launched Chiron. Reports suggest that the Chiron could be powered by a redesigned version of the W16 engine that was used in the Veyron, with output figures being quoted at around 1,500 BHP. The new car is likely to make the use of a hybrid electric powertrain for its performance boost. The top speed is speculated to hover in the range of 435 - 450 km/h, if not more.

As im following Manny Khoshbin on Instagram who is truly an inspiration when it comes to car dream garages, claims he has already booked the Chiron.

:thumbs up

From all the spy shots it looks like its shed a lot of mass. It will definitely be more agile, not to mention faster than the Veyron. The photos from the rear under the covers almost give it a McLaren like profile.
