2014 BMW X5 - Leaked!
(
https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/international-automotive-scene/131337-2014-bmw-x5-leaked.html)
First pictures of the next generation X5 (F15) has surfaced ahead of its official reveal later this year.
The Big X, I feel, has lost its trademark brute-macho appeal and looks a lot more mellowed down, especially the rear. More like an X3 that went through a Xerox machine at 150%.

I agree! Infact the X3 looks better I guess. This one looks very rounded, especially in the front. Except for the grille, there is nothing much attractive about the design.
I like the front; the rear aren't quite fit for a SUV.
By the way, aren't the fog lamps a little too high? Doubt they'll serve their purpose at that height (although fog lamps are rarely used for their purpose anyway).
Yikes! I'm hating that rear end. Why does BMW make beauties like the 6 Series Grand Coupe and M5, and then manage to ruin stuff like this?
Very strange placement of fog lamps. Almost questionable. Much like an afterthought or backup headlamps in case the bi-xenons fail! :D
And a very uninspired and timid rear to boot - very unlike an X5!
@Scorcher: aptly put buddy - photocopy machine at 150%!
It looks like an angry man with two huge pimples :P
Why cant BMW SUVs be more Manly like there sedans ! Audi and RR have done a much better job with their respective SUVs. This X5 Doesnt look 1 generation ahead of the current one and thats an issue for me.
Honestly, I quite like it. Looks quite butch from the front, and the headlights to the grille look better on this than the F30. But I'd wait for better pictures till I make my judgement, especially since this may not be the final production version.
After looking at the whole X range, I am of the opinion that BMW should stop making SUV's. It's just not working (for me)...I am unable to like any of them.
The F15 X5 spotted with least camo and side by side with the current gen E70 X5 (in black);
From the looks of it the F15 X5 looks considerably larger than the current X5 :thumbs up
First look at the interior of the new X5 (F15);
F15 (new) vs E70 (old)
