Hyundai, the fastest growing automotive company, saw its brand value surge 24.4 % from a year earlier to $7.5 billion, according to brand consultancy Interbrand’s 2012 Best 100 Global Brands.

Hyundai, which has been included in the Best 100 Global Brands list for eight consecutive years, ranked No. 53 out of 100 brands this year. That's a steady increase from the No. 84 position in 2005 and the company’s highest ranking ever.

The whopping growth rate of 24.4 % this year significantly outperformed the industry’s average growth rate of 11.2 %. Beyond the auto industry, Hyundai is also one of the world’s fastest growing brands, closely trailing the growth rate of brands such as Apple, Google and Amazon.com.

Yes, Read it somewhere. Where every other manufacturer is slowing it's progress, Hyundai is the only manufacturer to grow manifolds. Hyundai is expanding it's presence in almost all countries of the Globe and it's 2nd position in India justifies this that it is growing at a very steady rate in all the world. And I still remember, 1-2 decades ago, Hyundai was known for making cheap, basement are bargain products for middle economic classes. Good work by Hyundai and they seem to stick to the old axiom of 'Less is More'! But, even after this success, Americans still make fun of 'Silly Old Hyundais'. I guess they should realize that Koreans are matching Americans and all other manufacturers on standards but by offering their products at a better value!

Thats a great news for me being a Hyundai car owner, just a decade ago people were hating this brand for their cars. As far as i know they are also the 5th largest car company in the world.
Hyundai has gained a lot of momentum after super success of their fluidic design philosophy. And i always loved the fact that Hyundai has always seen indian market as as very important from the time they started off here. Great going Hyundai

Here in Ottawa , Canada I observed that there are lots of Hyundai cars on the road compared to few years ago. Hyundai has grown very fast in market share within last few years. Here is a news excerpt :
Look at the facts: at the start of September, the No. 1 selling subcompact car in Canada was the Hyundai Accent. The No. 2 compact in Canada, the Elantra, trails the perennial No. 1 Honda Civic by just a handful of units.

The Hyundai Sonata was the No. 2 intermediate car to Sept. 1, and while among compact SUVs the Hyundai Santa Fe trails the Ford Escape by some 12,000 in sales, the Santa Fe is still No. 2 in the segment. Throw in sales of the Hyundai Tucson small SUV and Hyundai Canada’s combined compact SUV lineup trails the Escape by a relatively modest 3,000 units or so.
