BMW will lift the covers off a new M3 Sedan concept at the 2013 Geneva Salon next March.
M3 will gain a straight-six turbocharged engine, which is believed to produce somewhere around 450-horsepower, up from the current unforced-induction V8's 414hp (420PS).

The same powertrain will be used on the two-door model that will be named M3 Coupe or M4. Most of the visual equipments/body panels are based on the 3 series which is to hide the new M3's styling.

Either its fake, or someone else has just composited it together based on either on-location shots or photoshop.

Reason i say this is because it doesn't look like BMW's ad agency's work:
1) Radiator is highlighted too prominently in the image
2) Not shot on location (shadow goes same way in each picture & clouds are the exact same; despite camera moving 180*)
3) Car shot in harsh sunlight (WHY? since it wasn't even shot on location)
4) M3 badge isn't visible!!! Light flare.

In the rear picture, what is that visible under the car near the rear diff? Huge heat sink?

Yes. If you look closely, the backgroung is just flipped horizontal!

And that car, which ever BMW lookalike it is, just look completely dis-proportionate at the rear end. Without rear mudflaps, it looks ugly.

Why would BMW send a car without mud-flaps for photoshoot?

The car sounds good indeed, but really lacks that roar of the V8 predecessor, which I will sorely miss.

Sounds more refined now, but IMO, it will lose that muscle car image it has because of the new engine.

Some people may disagree with me, but that's my opinion.
