Return of the Audi RS4

The Audi RS4 is back, complete with a 450 bhp, handbuilt V8. It shares its engine with the V8 unit from the RS5. The estate version, or Avant, as Audi call it, has been launched first.

Personal Opinion: I think it would have looked better if the front end was taken from the pre-facelift A4.

Re: Return of the RS4

Took the words right out of my mouth.
While i had no idea this was on the cards and am absolutely delighted that the RS4 is back, the pre-facelift B8 version with a more aggressive kit than the S4 would have looked sumptuous.
Any idea of the 0-62 times ??? Should be interesting..i expect it to be marginally quicker to the ton than the C 63 thanks to Quattro

The link states a 0-100 time of 4.7 seconds. The pricing is about 76,600 Euro which puts it pretty close to the RS5. I know which one I'd rather have though.

While the RS5 does look phenomenal, I would take this if I had the choice. There's something very cool about estates, I think. When they come with this much power to shame some much more expensive and serious metal, then it's pure ice!

Re: Return of the RS4

Hopefully THIS RS4 would be a worthy competitor of the M3 sedan and c63 amg. And as far as 0-60 is concerned i would assume 4.4 or 4.5 for the sedan. I do like the facelift but the front bumper is a little boring. Nonetheless, i am looking forward to the sedan and how it handles.
