This is the most powerful vehicle ever made by Ford Australia which in its standard configuration produces 450 hp, but for police service it was tweaked to generate 536 hp via new fuel injectors and a bigger exhaust. I don't really see the point in this new variant from Ford for Australia, since Ford is packing up from Australia by 2016.

Even though Ford plans to exit Australia by 2016 they are going to launch the Falcon facelift in 2014.

Also Ford has announced that they are going to maintain aprox 200 dealerships for Australia

Ford is not leaving Australia, they are going to stop all local production by 2016 because of rising cost.They will still sell cars post 2016 but will import them from Thailand/china.

Coming back to the topic,according to the article its just a one off police car version of the limited edition, no plans of making more.will be more of a show car
maybe the Aussie police will get the next gen RHd mustang as their highway patrol cars, now that will be something!

Dubai Police should now buy the new Mclaren P1, the LaFerrari and a Pagani Zonda. That would add some serious bling to their already awesome fleet.. They can even go in for an S65 AMG, a G55 AMG, a Jaguar XJ Supersport and a Panamera Turbo S if they find the exotics mentioned above a bit overbudget.
Slighty OT: I feel our policemen should be given Laura VRs cars for patrolling our expressways to catch speedsters who endanger the lives of others.
