Lamborghini Cabrera LP600-4 Edit: Huracan LP610-4 revealed Pg.4

What I don't like about the Huracan is that it just doesn't look radically different from the Gallardo. The Reventon and now the Aventador are worlds apart from the Murcielago. But this looks more like a facelift than a new car. Lambo needed to make it really different and mad looking than its predecessor.

Also, now the entry level Lambo too has entered the 600+ BHP club. May sound conservative, but, I personally feel its too much for the size. Now like most other supercars it will governed too much by computers and will be far from being exciting and mad like a Lambo should be. The worst part of todays supercar makers including Ferrari, McLaren etc is that they are making cars just to match numbers and ending up with cars that, though being super fast, somehow lack genuine driver involvement. I have never driven any of these cars and most probably never will, but even when I look at these cars I don't get the tremendous rush and deep want of driving them. They don't evoke lust and greed like before, except the 458 of course.

Lamborghini unveils Gallardo replacement.

Deliveries of new Huracan start in the spring.

Power for Lamborghini's newest model comes from a revised version of its predecessor's naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V-10 gasoline engine.

The Italians have announced 19 finishes for their Gallardo replacement, including the "Arancio Borealis" orange seen on this Huracan !

I'm not a fan of the droopy and saggy exhaust pipes even though they are up-swept. Centrally mounted exhausts would have worked really well with the rest of the design. But I guess it's for the best considering that everyone's labeling it as a scaled-down / mini / baby Aventador, and rightly so!

Lamborghini is already having success with its Huracan LP 610-4 that is due to meet the public eye in March, Sells 700 Units before Official Geneva Debut.

Agree about the comment on it being more of a face-lift. The overall mould (minus the rear) looks quite similar to the latest gallardo. I guess thats where Audi's german precision inputs come in.The "madness" factor seems to be gone but these cars are still no slouches, they tend not to throw off-guard the driver and have become quite reliable. Maybe thats what attributes to their recent successes? You get a bit of everything in one package.
