I have been in BD for quite a long time and while my stay there,I have seen quite a few worthy cars.The automotive scene in BD is based more on tuners and now with the pictures

Is this the general trend or is this more like spotting an exotic. never knew that our neighbors are so rich!

OT and i see the number plates are all in Bangla, is it legal?

Post cars that are used everyday. That is where the differences will be. Exotics are same everywhere

That's their National Language buddy. Its ought to be legal.

Why in two minds mate? Post as much as you can. Some of them sure are drool maal.
The Subaru looks awesome! Would love to see those in India one day! If the neighbors can have em, why not us?

Even they have the Lancer Ex!
Though most of the other cars looks 1-2 generations old

Thanks for your positive feedback guys.Now to answer couple of your queries

No not all cars here are everyday cars,but the celica,altezza,lancer ex are very common.

It is not illegal to have Bengali plates.

Yes the cars are old as the pictures are quite old(haven't been there for almost two years now)

Yes it is not India it is Bangladesh(BD)

Oh Man ! Never Thought that our neighbours were so rich ! Merc , Subaru , Celicas , Lancers , Land Rovers , Porsches, Mazdas !!! You name it , you have it ! Cant believe even after watching the pics ! I mean , they all are imports , and some are modified too ! I must call my travel agent right now ! lets pay a visit to the neighbours !

A few interesting things to note,

* All the plates are in Bangla so it must be the only allowed language to have the plates in

* Each of the plate says Dhaka; so all these exoticas are actually located in/around Dhaka which is how actually it truly is in terms of spread of the wealth

* Some of the cars even have plates that say Dhaka Metro... Now what kind of classification is that?

About the last point, Initially I thought just like some people write Andhra Pradesh or Maharashtra etc in their plates here probably people in BD like to spell out Dhaka. But no... so many others say Dhaka Metro! Looks like its a classification... Probably just Dhaka is equivalent to say Dhaka suburbs or rural or some such?
