Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 - Now Launched!

It looks like a mish mash of the Murci,Reventon and the Gallardo.It somehow lacks that shift in design language that always were a hallmark of lamborghini super cars.

From the Miura to the Countach then the Diablo and finally the Murci.All of them have this family lineage but still strikingly different.The Aventador doesnt seem to be so.

But it is/was honestly not easy to better a Murci in the design department. What I am glad is at-least the transition is not bad like from the F430 to F458. F458 looks totally confused and is no match for the clean lines of the F430.
The technical innovations and performance of the new Lambo bull look very appealing.

The 6.5l mill in Aventador will be the second highest displacing NA engine next to Aston Martin's one 77. No wonder, it is gonna give other supercar manufacturers a good run for their money. Lambo's line up is stupendous. The Aventador is soon to be followed by the insane Sesto Elemento. Brilliant!

You call that conventional? Agreed, the design is less phenomenal than in the case of Countach, Diablo and Murcie, its more of an evolution. But that doesn't by far look conventional to me

The front seems to be really aggressive. Need to see it from more angles to form a real opinion.
On second thoughts, what the heck? Its the Murcielago successor, so its gonna be freaking amazing!

Of course,it looks the part but are you guys missing something!

A RED Lamborghini? How? I haven't seen one for years.Never after the Countach.And more so surprisingly,there isn't any red color scheme option in the dealer ordering guide!

Is it only me color-blind or you guys can also see this change?

The old Murcielago as well the Gallardo were available with red IIRC.Obviously,the shade differed from Rosso Corsa!

BTW the colour is not red is a type of orange,Arancio.

Ohh my...The Aventador is just stunning. Love those sharp lines. Agreed that the looks are more of an evolution but as someone said earlier, it is difficult to better a Murci in the looks department and the addition of curves would have spoiled the aggressive looks of this hypercar. Lambo has made me fall in love all over again after the tragic departure of Murci. The Reventon like nose is striking.
