Go Karting In Bangalore

Guy's just thought i will share my experience in go-karting, this weekend. I went with my friends to a place called Race-Pace Go-karting.. it's preety far frm the city around 5 km's from RT Nagar, the outskirts of bangalore city. This was my first experience with driving a kart, and beleive me guys it was a wonderful one. The charges go upto 120 for every 6 laps..we did 4 sets and got a feel of the track.I beleive this is the only decent karting space in bangalore (not sure as i don't belong to bangalore..). The kart's are wel maintained. There are a few speedy one's, but those are for the professional racers only. I think they host chapionships there as well.In short if you want to spend the weekend and do anything different then this is the place to be. We saw a couple of smart kid's who race much faster than any of the grown-ups..hope they can make it to the big league one day.

There is one called "GRIPS" on the Mysore highway near the Rajeshwari college. Don't know how good / bad it is but its the only one I have seen in Bangalore. Now that you have recommended Race-Pace, maybe need to give it a try.

Have you been there, DRAGONLORD? What's your idea of the place?

Hill track? What's that supposed to mean? I went karting near Pune once, on a 'proper' hill track.. through dunes and rocks, changed altitudes about 3 times during the 1 km stretch.. this was a loooong time ago though. I went back there a year back, the place is a farm now. Sigh..

There is (was?) a karting track on the sarjapur road. Dunno if its still there now - they seemed to have very little business, being in a rather remote place. Any one been here?

i had been to that innovative film city last sunday its pretty good and theres still a lot more work to be done.........the kart track is not that big its got only four corners small when compared to grips and the karts are also slow.....its exactly like driving on a freshly laid road pieces of tar keeps hitting you literally.....the only good thing i found was its flat out from start to finish, nice fun if the karts were faster
