Nice report! Looks like the Fiesta is the one to have on Tarmac and the Cedia on dirt. What tires were these guys running?

Does the homologation requirements necessitate the companies to sell the performance enhancers on the open market. Or is it still that the Fiesta's are running on UK/Cosworth components unavailable to the general public.

Please get your facts right before posting, do not post crap like this on the open forum or something which you concluded!

In the Gp N class, everyone had to run a mrf control tyre.
In 1400cc class, any tyre made in India was allowed. Hence he chose to run JK's over mrf.

What is the black evo leaking? notice under the car.

Also - its nice to see the number of sponsors for the cars- painted all over - in contrast - the indian cars seem to run 1 to none sponsors logos! :(

Where is tifosikrishna's report? He practically lived on track for 2 days and has a few hundred photographs including frame-by-frame shots of the Subaru locking wheels, hitting the tyre barrier, flying over the trench and flipping over. He also had a close up of a pissed-off Sideways giving some of the drivers/riders a few hard words.

Bring it on, tifosi! Lets see 'em!

Are the Fiesta's that good on a tarmac? I thought the Mitusbishi Cedia had a better road grip and handling. Or is it because of the mods?

Infractions: 0/1 (10)

Since my net connection seems to have gone bust and I am unable to upload anything, I shall continue with my report.

The red scooby was in hot pursuit. 2 laps before the scheduled end of the race the Scooby late braked on C1. Locked tires, lost the rear end a bit, went sideways, clipped the chicane and went airborne slightly, continued sideways at over god knows what speed, hit the tire barriers, since the speed was too much it carried through the barriers, fell into the adjoining land which was at a lower lever. The force of impact and the momentum the car had hurled it further into a a couple of somersaults mid air before it came crashing down. I was at the tower and I clearly remember seeing the car flip, I could see the underbody with my naked eye. Infact, that lap was the only lap I had put the cam off since I wanted to watch them with the naked eye. Otherwise I could have captured the horrifying scene.

The car must have easily gone up at least 10 ft into the air. I was in a state of shock, as if I were in that car. Then Tadu calmed me down saying these cars are built to take such abuse. Thankfully, Rizvi Farook was escorted back in the ambulance. He was OK. I clicked a few pics of him just to be sure it was him. Though he showed no signs of any injury it was later reported that he had a cracked shoulder bone. He went back into the pits to a standing round of applause.

Tifosi and many others were right at that corner and were really lucky not to have been at the wrong place at the wrong time. The race was stopped and the winners declared on the standing of the previous two laps.

So, Rizvi finished second I guess. His car was a total wreck. After looking at the severity of impact, I am really glad to know that the Scooby took it real well. Pics of the crash will be up by tomorrow mostly.

Nice weekend of racing. The excitement is back! the next round is going to be totally mindblowing! I took just 3-4 pics. Didn't feel the need to take more as we arranged for our official T-BHP photographer to get an all access pass which he made full use of. Lets wait for his photographs, and from the few I've seen, it is worth the wait!

Thats not a leak. They spray the intercoolers with water. That is just the water that drops to the ground.
