Hi friends,
Like to know the average annual maintenance cost of different cars.
Please provide the following details:

average annual maintenance cost (without fuel and insurance charges)
Model: Punto 1.3 Emotion Pack
Bought: Mar 2010
Maint (1st and 2nd service): 330 + 6068 = 6398/-
Model: Chevy Spark LS
Bought: May 2010
Maintenance (1st and 2nd service): 220+220 (pick up and drop) = 440/- :D

That seems to be on the higher side. Can you please provide us with a break-up?

Total Service cost till date (excluding petrol) - Rs. 0 (Only one free service done)

Wow - 28K? That's quite high for a 2 yr old vehicle. Were there problems not covered in warranty?

Annual maint. cost (till Apr2010 when last service was done) : Rs.4936 p.a.

here.
The car has now completed 1 more year and is due for the 50K service.

It does include a few accessories here and there but over all Bolero is not that cheap to maintain.

2009 - 4000/- (paid service starts + some minor replacements)
2010 - 23000/- (paid services + steering rack)
Damages -
2007 - 500/ - Insurance collateral for dent
2009 - 7000/ - AC pipe system damaged by self idiocy
2010 - 2500/- Dent repair

Average service cost - $950 (approx Rs. 43k) :D
Have had about 10 scheduled services done so far
Insurance pa - $600 (approx Rs. 27k)
Accident repair (replaced rear bumper - paid by insurance, but I had to pay $50 excess).

Average/ year: INR 3209
