Thanks. By any chance, do you know the fees associated with this transfer to spouse after death of registered owner?

The RTO In Karnataka asks for affidavit from successor, and an affidavit from other legal heirs. They asked to look online but the Karnataka RTO site not loading.

Does anyone have any formats for the above that they have used?

I need to have my car which is registered in my late fathers name to mine, he passed away more than a year ago, and I haven't been able to do this because of various reasons, I did go through the thread and found a list of documents that needs to be submitted for the process, I am also looking for agent referrals who do this in and around Bangalore North (Cooke Town).

I have the original death certificate, surviving member certificate. family tree and the usual documents of the car. I would appreciate any pointers from anyone who went through this process recently.

Were you able to transfer the RC to your name? Do you mind sharing format of "Affidavit (sworn by sucessor and consent of other family members)" ?

I have not been able to do this yet, still figuring out the process.
