True, 4.9 lakhs also feels high for a 2012 Civic. But, since the original price quoted by the owner is 5.25 lakhs, I do not really think he would be willing to reduce the price to 4.7 from 5.25. Even OBV values a good car at 4.7 lakhs and an excellent car anywhere between 4.7 to 5 lakhs. Considering the point of view of the owner, 4.7 lakhs would be a bit too low.

20K does not make a huge difference if the car is in a good condition. Over the market value, 25K does make a difference to the owner, gives him a profit of 25K. Petrol heads like us would not mind shelling out the extra premium if the car is in a good condition but considering a layman's point of view, 25K is a huge premium over the market value.

I myself would not mind paying 20k for this car if it is in an excellent condition, better than an other car costing 5 lakhs.

2.8 lakhs is on the higher side. The current market value for this car is anywhere between 2.0 - 2.2 lakhs.

4.5 lakhs is an extremely low price for your Ecosport. The market value is around 6 lakhs for a 2013 Ecosport AT.

We have a DL registered 2006 Baleno LXi 1.6 in good condition in Noida. It has run 1.20 lakh kilometres. Mechanically it's as sound as new. Everything works including the electricals. There are very few takers for that car and only an enthusiast can know what a treat to drive that car is. Please PM me if you are interested or if you know somebody who can be.

I purchased a 2011 A-Star from Maruti True Value last year for 2.25 lakh. I would highlight that prices from True Value will be higher than all other second hand car dealers but there is scope for some negotiation. I think the deal should be in the 2.2-2.4 lakh range. I do not think the dealer will go below that.

That's good to hear. I'm a little skeptical about the availability of spares for the car. Any idea whether the spares are readily available? And if they are relatively more expensive that it's brethren models?

What would be a fair price for the following Honda Civic 2007 (automatic), details as follows:

Kms driven - 75,000
Registration - Bangalore
Service - Complete records
Condition - very good, company maintained
Owners - 1 (technically 2, as it was transferred to the owner from his company)
Asking price - 4 lakhs

I am in search for used Ecosport in Bangalore.Below are my requirements
Model-Ecosport Diesel Titanium 2014 onwards model.
KM Driven-Less than 50K.
Color:White/Silver
Number of owner-Single
I have inspected few vehicles, driven around 30 to 40K. Prices quoted in Olx is from 7.5 to 8.25L.

After checking and negotiation I got 7.15L final for one silver and 7.20 for white,both are 37K run.What would be fair price for above vehicles.
