Comments : Was uploaded on the listing site two weeks back. Delhi registration. Looks neat without any modifications except a music system with a boom box (assuming) fitted in the boot.

Request all the Gurus to advise if the pricing is correct. I am more inclined towards the black one but little apprehensive on the Delhi registration bit. Not sure if it has a detailed service record which the yellow car doesn't. Please provide your inputs on the pricing and other bits.

Should I go ahead and test drive both the cars and get them checked along with a mechanic ? Is it that only a Mitsu specialist can check and tell the condition ?

Please advise.

Hello Abhi, I suggest you stay away from car no.1. The price seems unjustified for car done 94,000 kms & that too a owned by 2 individuals. Also consider that the Cedia was never a popular model & the market for a petrol sedan is all time low.

Check out the black car with a magnifying glass.Double check the ownership papers. The price seem OK. Enquire as to why the car was not transferred from one state to another.These threads might help you -

Hi himanshugoswami, I guess anything in the range from 8.6L to 8.9L is a fair price to pay for a Scorpio SLE Oct 2011. Remember a car loses its max value in the first year of its ownership.

Hi Scorpman,
The Accord seems to have done quite a no. of miles. But since its very well maintained & with full service history,I would not mind paying around 6.75L to 7.1L for it. BTW, how much is the seller asking for it?

Thank you for your comments Varun. I am looking for a driver oriented car and since it will be used only during weekends (500 to 600 KM usage per month) Diesel doesn't make sense. Thanks to the rising fuel prices my dream for owning a Cedia seems possible (subject to the end result though ). I am on a hunt since 3 months but was able to find only these two available in Hyderabad.

I am a die hard fan of Cedia. Have been following the ownership threads of all Cedia owners religiously so pretty much aware of the pros & cons owing this car. As a secondary option I am looking out for Ford Fiesta 1.6 S but no result in finding one.

around 6.5 lac should be a reasonable price for this.

if that helps - few weeks ago, i visited many dealers to sell my friend's 2008 Accord 2.4 MT and was offered between 8-8.5 lac, and that was the current gen Accord.

I have a 2002 model maruti zen lx having 1lac kms on the odo. Frankly speaking the condition of the car is not that great, but not poor either.
