A 2008 Swift Ldi should easily fetch you close to 4L in Maharashtra, and i'm sure it should be the same in your city. There are not many low mileage, good condition cars available in the used car section. So i advice hold on to the 4L price.
What should be price for a 4 year old, 24000 Kms driven Innova G4 diesel from pune? I know that being a BHPian, one shouldn't be looking at non-ABS variant, but low mileage(genuine) Innova makes it tempting.

Hi Sukiwa,
IMO you can bargain in the range of 4.4 to 4.6L. If the vehicle is too good and maintained well then IMO you can go for another 10-15k extra

Hi,
I have the following cars to select.
1) 2000 Old Honda City 1.5Exi Blue Moon Silver Color with 48,000kms ODO, single owner maintenance with some minor touch-ups done but looks ok from casual glance. 60 Lts Lovato LPG fitted, Pioneer HU, Sony speakers, Black rexine seats. Quoting 2.5L
<<How to remove the yellow dull tinge from the headlights?>>
2) December 2008 Swift Dzire LXI Silver color with 12500kms ODO with no scratches fitted with 15" alloys and JK Tornado wheels, Power Windows fitted, black art leather seats, Chinese music system, Sony coaxial speakers behind backseat. Quoting 4.95L from Maruti True Value.
Can someone give me the best option among these. I have very little time on my hands in which to decide.
Thanks in advance

the car is technically a 2009 model car - if you really like the car, you can go upto 7 or even 7.1 all inclusive (if brokerage is involved). You can start with 6.7/6.8 and then go up. Given it's run just 3K, it is virtually a new car - the jazz is a great car - u will be happy with it (unless you do extensive highway runs).

Go for the 2008 Dzire. The City is 10 years old has an after market LPG fitment (I would'nt recommend buying used cars with a significant after market addition like a LPG). You should be able to negotiate the Dzire down to about 4.75 all inclusive. At just 12500 kms, you will be happy with the car for the next few years. Again I am assuming here that both cars will meet your needs.
I am looking to buy a used Innova and have seen two cars that I like.
Both are 'V' - Top end versions - Diesel.
2006 Model - 55K Kms run - Asking price - 8.5L
2006 Model - 50K Kms run - Asking price - 9.25L
What can I pay for them?
I've seen a 2001 Tata Sierra Turbo, 85k kms, fairly good condition, needs some suspension work, new rear tyres, some minor paint touch up, and many little niggling works. ~40-50k of work I'd estimate.
What would be a fair price to quote? The owner is asking for 1.15L.

IMO, 1.5L too costly for this car. It would be better if you get that ~80-90K since you have many touch up work to be done. To buy this or not is what you have to think. Happy buying

its not 1.5, its 1.15, @ underground1419, 1.15 is a fair price if the car is pristine, you would get a lot of sierras below 50k range as well but those would be money pits.
