Spotted: All new TUCSON

The ix35 is a great SUV/crossover by hyundai. the exterior & interior design is simply stunning. I am already sold on this car if it launches by May 2011.

Thats a nice catch ! The car looks quite BIG - may be as big as Fortuner? And yeah, its a sexy design ! They should have ideally launched it here though as lots of people said has a different registration! If it was to be launched in India, I think people would have spotted it near Chennai ! Hyundai might be waiting for the W201 Mahindra SUV to be launched first and might bring this as a competitor !

If hyundai launches this a W201's competitor, then mahindra must scrap their project right now itself!

I think the W201 should be atleast 2-3 lakhs cheaper, much bigger 7 more feature rich than this.

Looks pretty good, although I'm afraid I'm not a big fan of the curvy styling that seems to be carried over from the last-gen vehicle.

Just spoke to my friend working with Hyundai,This Tuscon is NOT going to be launched here in the near future.it might take 2 years or so

As it has been already said,this car is most probably a bhutan car so chance of any scoops.
Plus i dont think hyundai will take the risk of launching 2 premiums suvs(tucson & santa fe) back to back.

Sorry for the false alarm people!! Got just too excited on spotting the car to look out for the obvious. The car was just amazing and made me drool.

Just when would Hyundai realize that this was the car they should have launched first. Frankly, I do not see too much sales for Santa Fe. But, launching this car in 16-18 Lacs segment it would surely have been a killer. It'd have been real bad news for the likes of ARIA.

Looks great. Yeti has started a new segment and looks like soon there are going to be others joining it. If they price it close or around what Yeti is priced there's going to stiff competition there.

Here's some the pics taken from Google of its front and interior. By the look of it, it does looks spacious at the back.

I saw about 10 to 15 of these ix35s drive towards the airport about 2 weeks back,but all with temporary Bhutan BTN plates.That drowned all my excitement down.Pretty evident that these cars were meant for Bhutan.

I have seen the new tuscon drive into a hyundai dealership backyard (Talwar) - Begumpet, Hyderabad yesterday evening. So I suspect it will be launched pretty soon! - Any one from hyderabad who knows this dealer can find out more.

just called up the showroom i think it was a sante fe . the only new launch is the 2nd generationg i10 and no chance of a new vehicle till next year according to the sales women

So what price range is being targeted for this? Given that they have a Santa Fe in their ranks, fighting it out, where is this going to be placed/priced?
