Guys-

Can someone tell me if I20 Asta comes with an in-built bluetooth which needs to be activated or will it have to be a completely new installation?

I checked with a couple of dealers and have got conflicting versions.

^^ Indian Version doesn't comes with Bluetooth. But you can always add the Bluetooth module separately (like Nokia, Parrot car kits).

Also the much publicized AVN system seems to be problematic. Here are few links to the same.

This is what happens when a company does not test its products properly before launch. It happened with steering & Ac issues and now with this AVN. They probably have no idea how to fix it either. It is certainly not surprising how the Hyundai Customer care is being abused as being a hoax and useless, because that's what they really are - Careless Customer Care:Frustrati!!!

Booked i20 ASTA today.

Some news:---
1) They have started giving steel wheel as spare. No alloys :Frustrati

2) The ASTA (may be sportz too) comes with BLUETOOTH as default(obviously with 3000k extra). But that is a mandatory feature. So we can say that the price has increased by 3000k.

3000k or 3000? sportz and asta now have Bluetooth as standard.

oops!! It is 3000 indeed. Correction.
But the spare wheel thing is a real big let down.

When are they doing the engine upgrade to VTVT? DTE/FE display in MID?

This is the standard Bluetooth on an i20 1.2 sportz model. No more features added

Could you please share the deal you got. Any freebies offered. When enquired here, there was absolutely nothing being offered as freebies, only mudflaps and floor mats. The price hike due to bluetooth seems to be around 3500 here and post 20th prices are epected to go up by 2%.

5th wheel not being alloy is a major let down. Can it be obtained as a spare part / accessory or after market?

@All, do all i20's come with brown beige interior combination or does anyone come with grey/black interiors as well.

Indian models come only with brown/beige interiors. But in ther markets I think they have black interiors.
Spare steel wheel is a serious let down. I can consider myself lucky now.
I wanted to know how helpful is bluetooth integrated with the audio system?I was under the impression it was illegal to drive while making a call.

I got a few other things which I can confirm only after delivery. They told me a 100 times " no freebies and discount " and then after negotiating for the 101th time they opened up.:)

I will have to ask that. But they will surely charge a huge sum for that.

@ Sid. Can you please confirm if we can play music through bluetooth??

No idea about music playing through bluetooth thingy, but fone can be used. Best way is to ask your dealer as I did not had time to try it out.

When I went to book the car the showroom guy did not know anything about this bluetooth thing. He said "Sir its a new add-on, so we have limited knowledge".

Booked 1.2 Asta with Bluetooth on 10th of this month but didn't knew that will get steering controls for the same.

I see one more change in the pictures posted by Sid. They have changed the grill orientation in all the ac vents. Earlier it used to be horizontal but now they are all vertical ! Is it for better throw ?

Yes, same here. Bluetooth costs additional 3500 and prices are expected to go up very shortly.

To get alloys for 5th wheel (spare one), i heard it would cost close to 12k !
