Koleos wont sell much if its priced 18 l on road,its hardly any bigger than the Yeti,and nor does renault have the build quality or the brand name(it still holds a premium even after the *** fiasco) of the skoda.

Koleos would sell, if it was priced at the price range you quoted but not the price range it has been released at. Renault needs to learn it's lesson the hard way.

I saw the car yesterday at andheri west Renault showroom.They had a black renault koleos on display.The car is a stunner!Looks like the audi Q5.The interiors are of supreme quality.The REAR seasts are very cramped.I like the split tail gate.Bose system was nice but nothing extraordinary;an aftermarket pioneer with amp and sub could do the job for less than 50K.
The smart key looks quite impressive.
On road price for Mumbai is 27L.
no HIDs,no paddle shifts,no sunroof,no memory seating.
Given an option I will buy the upcoming facelifted toyota fortuner anyday!!!

I was so badly put off....if this is Renaults idea of sales staff, I wonder how long they will last !! Bad taste in the mouth on the very first interaction.

I filled in the Test drive form on the website 4 days ago. No call yet! Talk about an enthusiastic sales team!

When renault was deciding the pricing I think they had the Honda CRV market in sight. They figured if Honda could sell so many numbers of a petrol softroader at such a ridiculous price, why not the Koleos! Dont think they realize the downturn the CRV had after the price increase.
