Great thread.

I shall be rplacing my white Verna SX ABS with a red Fiat Linea Emotion (Diesel).

Sold my silver Indica Turbo already, shall go for an i20 if there is a Diesel version with ABS. (Had a heartburn wishing for a Getz CRDi). If no Diesel i20, then it'll be a Fabia TDI Elegance. The color in either case would be silver.

If there is a 4x4 version of the Xylo , I shall add one in black or silver and sell my black Versa. Otherwise, I shall go for a Safari 4x4 VX in white.

Sometimes think of getting a new Superb and a Captiva Automatic instead of the Linea - i20/ Fabia - Xylo/ Safari. But the economic situation has no signs of easing, so I wonder whether that would be prudent.

my previous car was a tata indica dls and i always felt the lack of power be it low or high speeds and my requirement for my next i.e my present car was raw power and raw power along with a boot.i got 100bhp in the form of petra along with a huge boot at a damn affordable price.
my next car has to be a diesel cause i want the turbo kick and the high torque.
i want to experiance the kick of the turbo and the kick of getting high fuel economy figures (18-23) that some of our multijet/DDis/quadrajet owners have been reporting.some are even un happy with 15-17
so it all boils down to swift dzire(though i hate its looks and would prefer the hatch insted), hyundai I20, fiat linea(though i feel its going to be out of my budget).i dont want to buy a TATA car again so the vista and indigo vista are a no no.i hate logans looks.I dont want to experiance the same interiors with the MJD.
i will drive my petra for another 10,000 kms or 6months whichever comes first and then lets see.....

The people who is planning for Innova please consider for high end model which has ABS. Its a risk to drive that big vehicle w/o ABS.

Xylo does have the option of 4x4, its a mahindra! check out the xylo thread.

My next car will be a Bolero SLX. Started saving already.

Will take another year to buy it. After Bolero, will replace my M 800 with a cheap diesel hatch.

i hav a 800 and buying a fiesta 1.6.il be keeping the 800 around for little more time. and surely enjoy the fiesta to the fullest!!

Second thoughts: Friends like the looks of the Pajero SFX in black/ white paint scheme, pressing me to go for it. Pretty comfy vehicle, I must admit. Had an imported one earlier (automatic). So the first vehicle, most probably in Jan, shall be a Pajero.

Well, mine for sure will be a Safari. No second thoughts!!
Right now I am still in college, so maybe in 2-3years time. Hope TATAs learn something from the LandRover they have acquired and do something good with the Safari. Like in terms of quality and safety features.
