I am looking forward to the VW Tiguan SUV. Seems to fit the bill. Reasonable pricing, decent power, VW build quality. This should replace my Octavia - so waiting patiently - no rush. As my Octy has clocked just 29K to-date.

Any firm information on the launch date ? Anyone ?

I wish if I could get

In India,

1. TATA Safari White
2. Toyota Camry Grey
3. Scorpio Black

In US

1. BMW ZX4
2. Ford Mustang
3. Hyundai Azzera

I would probably go for a smaller car like I10 or something like it
and go for a Ninja 250.

In London - A used previous generation Mondeo.
When back in Bangalore - Maybe a Nano....I am not so sure there'll be enough space for anything else!

My next car would be a Diesel automatic 4X4 SUV(not a softroader)under 20L,i dont think a vehicle like this exists,hoping for a fortuner if it comes or else pajero manual or thunder+ would do.

yeah! I would guess that in current circumstances only Maruti can match this. May be a diesel SX4!

Which variant depends what engines are on offer.
I really hope it comes with 90 bhp multijet with VGT and not just 75 bhp version.

Not that here is anything really wrong with the Scorpio just yet, but lately i have been thinking of the perfect replacement for the Scorpio. The best i could think of is a sparingly used Pajero, not new simply because that old a design is simply unjustified at some 19-20L.
The Scorpio reliability has floored me, a little less than 90K, and it is yet holding up really well, so much better than say my 27K done three year old Ikon.

Fortunately i have another year till i retire the Scorpio, hopefully some new launches by then, if not then probably a well kept Pajero SFX!!

I want a 2 door hatchback with a 130bhp+ engine for about 12L to replace my Swift ZXi next year, when it becomes 4 years old.

Something like a VW Golf (with the 1.4 TSI engine), a Civic 2-door hatchback, or a Punto Abarth would be perfect. But knowing our country and our nation's penchant for cars with 'dikkys', I'm quite certain I'll be disappointed.

I'll probably just end up putting a turbocharger in the Swift and then leave the country as soon as possible.

I am eagerly waiting to see Suzuki splash. Some of the youtube test drive videos of this model looks interesting.
If its anything better than i10 Kappa then I should be all set for that.
