Bulletproof vehicles for Delhi Police

Delhi police have been provided with 6 bullet proof vehicles for the CWG.

They use Mahindra Marksman (Based on M&M Scorpio), the country’s first armoured capsule based light bullet proof vehicle, which has capability to be used in counter terrorist action as well as in conventional roles.

Sure has a "don't mess with me" look. I've seen innumerable Marksman vehicles in South Bombay, after the 26/11 attacks.

Probably an error from HT which went unnoticed.
It must be 2200 without weapons and 2700 with weapons.

As of now, Delhi Police's Armoured vehicle constitutes a limited fleet of Boleros, modified with grills and related equipments. One such vehicle is always seen parked opposite to India Gate and all cars have AK 47's to combat any terrorist attack.

I think each city police should have a few of these vehicles.

BTW I'm surprised that the Marksman weighs only 2200 Kgs empty as the bulletproof scorpio's over here in Hyderabad used by the CM weigh more than that.
