Actually I was given to understand that the tickets are Rs. 300/- in the 'business' hours, ie. before 1pm, then only 100/- after 1pm. Needless to say, I waited until past 1pm and attended today!
'had a great time today, despite still in the process of convalescing from my surgery last week, plus getting bogged down with a cold since yesterday!
'met suren, ravveendra and absynthguzzler (all hyd. team bhpians) and Prabhu at the New Mars stall. 'also happened to find an Armorall car-care product (tyre spray) that I badly missed for the last 5 years, having first used up one can that I brought from Singapore then. 'was really elated to get it again, in Hyd. itself!
OK, some humble contributions from my side...'have decided to break down the number of pics. between the posts. Also limiting the vintage car/bike pics. here because they are already in the process of being posted in the V&C section, which btw, anyone interested can check out here:

At the entrance:
Look whom I met for the first time ever, on entering the hall!! Sam was really nice, even let me sit in the Nano to get a feel of the JBL® inside! 'also asked if I would like a pic. taken of myself but with me not really being in shape (health-wise) right now, didnt feel too photogenic, so had to decline! Sorry sam! 'would've definitley loved to otherwise! :(
But was great meeting you nevertheless!
Vintage car/bike display at Deccan Heritage Automobile Association stall:
Not exactly a car, but I really found this boat interesting, especially the instrument dials and all the more, the curving shape of the front windscreen at the sides, which reminded me of those on late 50s American cars, especially GM ones!
Although I've travelled in Renault logans quite a few times, this is the first time I noticed this- or is this present only in the to-be-launched model?
Trust Renault to come up with something like triple single headrests on the rear seat!
BMW z4 convertible- sorry but didnt take too many pics. of even this car, or most of the newer cars on display- I'm more of a vintage/classic guy so spent most of my time there at the DHAA and New Mars stall!
To be continued...
