I own a Fiesta and indicator positions doesn't seem to be a problem for me. I am not sure why folks are worrying about it when they don't own a Fiesta and just keep creeping that its in left, its in left..
Every car has its own setup.. You just have to adjust it to what its there.. Change is always interesting
Im gonna jump in and say that i actually find it more comfy to have the indicator stalk on the left side. I drive a Honda with the stalk on the right side but whenever i drive my brothers Ikon i actually find that its a simple changeover of habits.

Probably it is to do with if you are a right handed or left handed person.
I have owned and driven 3 cars (matiz, fusion, forester) with the indicator on left side of steering column and one clear problem is, there are times you need to change gear and put on turn indicator, and it is a bit tricky.

Same here. For about a month I had the Ikon and the Honda together. Never had an issue while switching between the cars.
As @sbala nicely put, every car has its interesting essences. We need to adapt and enjoy the ride.

Its not about adapting. There is a reason why the indicator switch in a RHD car is placed on the right side and on the left in a LHD car. The indicator/headlight switch is the one which we use most frequently and its not safe/comfortable to be placed at the same side where the gear is.
The simple fact is, companies like Ford, Skoda and Fiat, doesn't bother to change it so as to cut cost!
I saw one blasting down NH45 yesterday. It was fully camouflaged.

Probably they are not bothering because, Ford/Skoda/Fiat owners are happy with this setup :)
I saw 4 cars about two days ago, about 15 kms from the FORD factory here in chennai. They were not camouflaged except for the ford logo. Looks like the launch is not too far away!
Ford unveiled the all new, supposedly India-spec, Fiesta today in Delhi. According to Ford this event was just an unveil / reveal and the actual launch will take place in the coming months. Mr. Nigel Wark - Executive Director, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford India and Mr. Michael Boneham - President, Asia Pacific and Africa, Ford Motor Company were present at the event.
Ford only shared a few details about this Fiesta and was totally quiet when they were questioned about the engine and price details. No one was even allowed to open the bonnet. According to Ford, todays show was just to showcase the exterior design, interior and a few features. This is the first of the 8 new cars that Ford intends to launch in India in the upcoming years.
The new design adds a prominent character to the vehicle making it look up-market than its predecessor. This is the clue that it will be marketed as a premium sedan above the current Fiesta which will be offered under the ‘Fiesta Classic’ badge.
High Points
- Two Engines - TiVCT Petrol and TDCi Diesel
- Power steering with Pull-Drift Compensation
- Cruise Control
- Voice Control for Music System, Bluetooth, Climate Control, Telephony
- Front seats felt extremely comfortable, possibly the best in its class. Rear legroom is strictly Ok.
Nice and sharp head-light design.
Unattractive tail-lights make the rear end look boring.
Single reverse lamp, just like the Euro-Spec. Exhaust pipe is neatly tucked away under the bumper.
Steering wheel has an excellent grip. Audio controls on the left spoke / cruise control settings on the right one.
The Speedometer and Revcounter are neatly shaped and easy to read.
Automatic Climate Control
Neatly shaped music system and Bluetooth control buttons.
The complete console. Knobs and switches are above average in quality and feel.
Pocket above the rear view mirror is a nice touch.
Dead pedal present under the floor mat.
Bootspace is enormous.
Boot hinges are strong but look very rudimentary.
195/60 R15s. Multi-Spoke rims look alright.
Small wheel arch and higher window line make this end of the car look bland.
Left picture is with a 6 footer in the front seat whilst the right one is the driver seat way at the back. Rear passenger space is acceptable but could have been better.
Door panels have a cheap look and feel

Automotive India forum has the brouchers already!

Absolutely correct. Having driven both, I actually prefer the turn indicator on the left!
In fact, someone mentioned driving with only the right hand on the highway...I guess any car company would suggest keeping both hands firmly on the wheel at all times!
Also, clearly Mustang is very passionate about the new Fiesta! That's great and there are many others of us (like me) who also like the look of the new Fiesta. Considering the amount of discussion on this aspect, I believe he is right on the money when he says that looks are subjective (though I'm not sure about the logic of quoting sales figures to support this:)).
No updates of the launch? been waiting for this day for long. :)
See the second picture posted at The Automotive India forum. It is the 'Lock/Unlock' button below the volume jog dial, right?! Kinda unconventional, but I like it!
