Spark for Rs. 123000

Hi folks,

Today I came across with the below offer for chevy spark. I am not sure if it is fluke or for real. if it is real consumers are the winners.

P.S. I am not directly or indirectly involved in this project. I just got forward email from my friend.

I for one wouldn't want to deface my car (no matter how snazzy the stickers look) for 6k a month...

But I guess there could be a few takers for such a scheme. I have seen a couple of cars in Gurgaon with advertising stickers. At that time I thought maybe the car had taken part in a rally and those were sponsor stickers.

Maybe it possible or maybe

Re: New Deal - Put Ads on your Chevy Spark, get paid every month!

This was a FRAUD and many people were duped by Rs.50000 which they paid for booking.
This fraud was caught and the people have have shut shop and gone away.
The showroom was near my house so I know all this. They had also started selling Aveo u-va, alto and ritz.
When they went away all cars were gone and only 1 brown Ritz was there but even that has gone now and the showroom is still there but empty.
Strangely the SA at Ashtavinayak had said that it is a real scheme.

MODS: This thread should be closed because the scheme is no more and so is the company.

Earn While You Drive

Came across this & thought to share...

Quote:
"EARN WHILE YOU DRIVE" a division of Chennai Eco Free Cabs Private Limited first time introduced the innovative advertising concept of Cash on Wheels in Chennai. We act as an intermediate between the car owners who are willing to display their advertisements on their private/commercial vehicles and the companies for outdoor advertising.

The car owners are paid for each advertisement displayed in their car and for the companies the branding is really high as it's an innovative concept the reach is really high and we also assure that the quality of work.

"CHENNAI ECO FREE CAB" first time introduced in India it's a normal cycle rickshaw where people can travel for free of cost upto 4km as the vehicles run on advertisement and we not only think of earning money also concerned about the environment we are giving free to public to encourage people to use ECO FREE CAB the vehicles can be found in all prime locations it will be launched shortly..

Re: Earn While You Drive

Offlate, I see a lot of these advertisements on taxicabs and seems like a good idea ( e.g many cabs in Bangalore were sporting the upcoming property show in bangalore)

But, I think it will be a major distraction and not a good idea of majority of private car owners start flaunting ads on their cars.

Want to use my company car for advertising.

Hello friends

I wish to use my car by pasting product advertisement sticker covering most of doors, hood and boot. How do I go about it? Do I need some special permission from RTO? Police? (you know, in Mumbai, extortionist traffic constables are rampant) What is the better option? Sticker? How does one get them as per body contours of car? Who would make it - any known source in Mumbai?

Sorry if this question has been asked before and answered, I did not find any.

Guidance will be appreciated.

Thank you and kind regards.

I don't wish to disfigure my car; but am prepared to ride around on my bike, wearing special advertising T shirts! Any takers?

Re: New Deal - Put Ads on your car, get paid every month!

This topic "Sparked" off an interesting conundrum. What if the adv is for Coke and you or any of your passengers inadvertently are spotted inside the car with a Pepsi bottle, who bears the damages ?
Just think it through before you attempt this. Commercial vehicles are fine and have a different indemnity, but not private vehicles. Otherwise, we would just have billboards driving around the road and nothing more

Re: New Deal - Put Ads on your car, get paid every month!

I fear a very stupid reaction from the people of India, suppose my car has this ad for Maggi all over my car, and I am on a traffic stop, a casual passer by sees my car, stops, comes towards my car, and asks me, can I buy a pack of Maggi? I am quite sure, this kind of a thing is bound to happen, as we often see these food stall vans, or these USB dongles for internet connections such as MTS. This is bound to happen if we put up this kind of an ad on an Innova or an EECO or any MPV.

Is advertising the logo and address of my start up firm on pvt registered car legal?

Dear friends,

I am in the process of starting my new business which absolutely needs publicity in a small way as it's a B2C venture. However, I have limited budgets for print / media advertising for this.

What I surely want to do is to use my privately owned Tata Nano(Non commercial Number Plate) as a mobile advertisement for my business.

It would basically have stickers/decals with:
1. Logo and tagline (about 1 ft X 2 Ft) or slightly bigger
2. Website address
3. Phone number and address details

However, I am not sure if this is allowed on Indian roads, legally speaking as I hardly see people doing this. At least I don't find any such things in Hyderabad(my home town).

I used to live in Australia for a few years and I found every small business running their cars with decals of their business names and contacts. I'd like to do the same to maximise my returns on investment.

Could anyone advise if my plan to do the above is legal in India/Hyderabad?

Thank you in advance.
