The Baleno is really quick and quite sturdy for a car from the Maruti stable. It sure looks outdated but then that is a challenge for an enthusiat to mod it out.

For me Optra is the one. My dads got optra. Its engine is very quiet and all i can say about the car performance is "It is the power who rules the road".

My heart calls for GTX but my cunning mind says baleno for its weight advantage and engine receptiveness to mods....GTX can give baleno a run for its money when it comes to looks, sturdy feel and that Italian exhaust note on free flows!!!huh

So, for me its the Baleno when comes to track and GTX for road bashing.

I am not sure on Palio GTX 1.6 as I have not driven it yet.
I am sure on Baleno. Good performance. An engine that is very responsive. Forget the stock tyres though.

Maruti is displaying a 1.6 version of Swift at the Auto Expo. No word if its going to be launched here or not. The rear headlamps are clear lens type.
