hey ..thtz cool..man..swift is really..a great car...does anyone knw when the bookings open..i would wanna hav one..1.3 l..does anyone hav more detail specs on performance stuff..85bhp +..is really awsome..for tht segment car...

Hey folks, Any idea when the Toyota Fortuner is getting launched.. I've been waiting eagerly for that one..

I've also heard that Tata is going to launch its internationally acclaimed Telcoline-range soon..

Can't wait to see either or both the cars in my stable..

Yup that's what the Maruti guys here at Sikkim say. 1.6 of the Baleno only expecterd sometime in 2007.

The Baleno engine would be just too delicious for the swift chasis. Anyway, even the Esteem 1.3 with 85 horses is not too bad. They just gotta shorten the gearing.

Yes the swift is to be launched initially with the G13b 1.3l engine from the esteem. Should be the same 85 bhp chances are there it might get tweaked to 87, not sure though.
And later on they will bring on the 1.6.But again there are chance for them to bring the new 1.3vvt engine, but being Maruti I doubt it.
